from the President:
We
are off and running for 2005. Our first
rodeo was May 13 and 14 in Adel with
the Pony Express. We had quite a few
contestants but the weather didn't
cooperate, despite the cold and wind everything went
well. I would like
to thank the Pony Express for their dedication and
hard work to put on a rodeo for us. They always do a great job. The
rule books are done. I did
hand some out at Adel and will continue to have them
with me at every rodeo, so just let me know if you need one. The
new newsletter should be out
as you receive this so any feedback would be
appreciated. We are going to
continue to have rodeo listings available at the
next couple of rodeos as
we still have approvals coming in. Also don't forget
to check the website at
rodeoattitude.com
for listings, results, and standings.
I would also like to thank Buck Pettyjohn for the
past couple of years of dedication to the association, his
job is going to require him to travel this summer
and he has
elected to step down. Ron Bever will be
taking his position as judging director. Don't forget the sponsorship
form, it only takes a few minutes and maybe a phone call to grab a $100 sponsor and their name will be
advertised
every time the contestant participates. It's
a great way to bring money to our association and you're eligible for the drawing at the
finals.
