LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT:

 HELLO EVERYONE, HOPE ALL IS WELL.  IT WAS GOOD TO SEE SO MANY PEOPLE AT THE BANQUET.  I WOULD LIKE TO THANK HOWARD SEARS FOR THE SLIDE PRESENTATION.  CONGRATULATIONS TO YEAR END WINNERS.  IF I HAD TO TAKE YOUR BUCKLE BACK THAT NIGHT TO SEND IT IN YOU SHOULD BE RECEIVING IT IN THE MAIL IN THE NEXT WEEK.  THE RULE PROPOSALS BOTH PASSED BY MAJORITY.  THE NEW STOCK CHARGE IS $8 AND THE BAREBACK AND SADDLE BRONC RIDING WILL BE OPEN TO ANYONE SO PASS ALONG THE NEWS.  THIS WILL BE THE LAST NEWSLETTER UNTIL NEW MEMBERSHIP IS BOUGHT, PLEASE DON'T WAIT UNTIL LAST MINUTE TO DO SO.  RODEO PROPOSALS ARE STARTING TO COME IN SO WE SHOULD HAVE MORE OF A LISTING WITH OUR NEXT NEWSLETTER.  JOHN STEENHOEK IS SANCTIONING HIS RODEOS WITH US.  WE HAVE A FEW NEW RODEOS THIS YEAR AND WE LOST A FEW.  THE BOARD DID MEET WITH THE OSCEOLA FAIR BOARD A FEW WEEKS AGO AND THE FINALS WILL BE IN OSCEOLA AGAIN SEPT 8,9, AND 10TH.  IT'S NOT TOO EARLY TO START ON SPONSORS, THE FORM IS RIGHT IN THE NEWSLETTER.  I WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME OUR NEW SECRETARY, SHIRLEY WRIGHT AND TEAM ROPING DIRECTOR, PHIL WIDMER.  TAKE CARE AND HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL SOON!

FROM THE SECRETARY

I would like to remind everyone that this is the last newsletter you will receive unless you have bought your 2006 membership.  If there is anything that needs to be put in the newsletters please try to have it to me by the 15^th of the month. If there are any address changes, name changes, etc. please keep me updated.  Several membership cards were sent out before the saddle raffle tickets were available; if you have received your card but have not yet received the raffle tickets, please let me know. Call or e-mail me.  I will also be available at several IRCA rodeos. Updates have been sent to the Rodeo Attitude website, but at this time they haven’t been added.  Also take note of the two new rule changes.  I am looking forward to the 2006 rodeo season and working with all of you.

1) Stock charge is increased to $8

2)Bareback Riding and Saddle Bronc Riding will be open to anyone,    

   including out of state competitors and they will be able to purchase  

   an IRCA card.
