LETTER
FROM THE PRESIDENT:
Hello
everyone, hope all is well. I hope everyone got
to watch the NFR, what an exciting last round!
That's what makes rodeo fun! The weather hasn't
been so conducive to rodeo, it's been so darn cold!
Just wanted to get a newsletter out with more
information about the banquet and to remind
people that if they have money won they need to
get their cards bought asap or dollars won't count for
next year. The cost of the meal at Adventureland
Inn this year is a bit more pricey than we are used to
but room rates are reasonable, and if you didn't get
quoted a price of $74 let me know and I will call
them. This is a beautiful facility so I hope
everyone considers joining us for the meal.
Howard Sears is going to do a slide presentation from
the finals for us during supper and awards. The
board has decided to keep the secretary position on a
year to year basis, considering that it is a paid
position, that's not to say that we might not keep the
current secretary but resumes will be taken every year
if someone wants to apply. If we do receive applications
the board will conduct interviews. This position
is a difficult one to undertake and requires a lot of
time, and dedication. So if you are considering
about applying I just want to let you know up front
that during the summer months and finals time we
expect your full dedication, it would be nice to
have you visible and available when members need
questions answered. You can send resumes to me
at:
Michelle Waldhauser,
1396 290th St
,
Macksburg
,
Ia
50155
. I will
contact you to let you know when the interviews will
take place. Thanks for your consideration.
Thanks,
Michelle Waldhauser
