LETTER FROM THE  PRESIDENT:

Hello everyone, it's getting to be crunch time, less than 2 weeks till finals!  Once again, call-ins will be Thursday, September 1st from 5pm-9pm with Maxine Gheer taking entries.  The added money will be $1000 per event with possibly more.  Entry fees will be $150 per event, which can be either mailed to Mindy or paid at the finals.  Timed event competitors are expected to ride in grand entry, the event director will be carrying a flag and you will follow with your event.  There will be a victory lap so if you are leading the event, please stay around to find out if you need to take the lap.  There will be a dance Saturday at Eagles Lodge in Osceola from 9pm-1am .  Awards ceremony will be Sunday to follow the performance, many of the directors have go round awards to give out so if you've placed in a go round it would be nice to have you there to receive it.  Also on Sunday after the performance we will be doing the saddle raffle drawing and the $100 sponsorship drawing, don't forget your saddle raffle tickets.  We will have people there to sell saddle and pony raffle tickets.  We are taking volunteers to help, just let me know.  I would like to thank Long Creek Outfitters for donating the raffle saddle and Shannon , Tina Bates, and Johnny Christensen for donating the pony.  There will be portable stalls available on first come first serve basis.  We will have a work night in Osceola on Tuesday, September 6th, if anyone is interested in helping just show up at the fairgrounds at 6pm .  Please be sure and double check your standings and if any questions contact Mindy.  If at any time there are questions regarding the finals please feel free to contact me.  I would also like to thank the Edwards family for offering to do the church service for us on Sunday morning.  Take care and see you at the finals.
